Welcome to Yarde, where the skies are so dark, you’ll think you’re in a black hole! Our beautiful dark skies are a wonder to see, and we’re not the only ones who think so. In fact, this area has one of the best locations in the UK to view the Milky Way in all its glory. On a clear night, we have one of the best views I’ve ever seen. The shear number of stars never seases to amaze me. I love to see the faces of our guests when they see the night sky filled with stars. On a clear evening, you can see thousands of stars without even needing a telescope or binoculars, but we have a telescope and binoculars for our guests to borrow to see some extra details.
